Schedule for week of June 27
Expect delays at SRR / Meetinghouse Rd intersection Monday morning
Crews will start work at 4 a.m. Monday, June 27 at the South River Road / Meetinghouse Road intersection. They will remove and replace the top several inches of pavement at the intersection in preparation for final paving the following week. Crews are beginning work early on Monday to minimize the impact on the morning commute at this busy location. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes or anticipate significant delays. If you travel through this intersection on your way to work you should allow yourself extra time on Monday morning. Later in the day Monday, June 27, similar paving work will take place on Back River Road from the intersection of South River Road to St. Andrews Drive; on SRR south of Kilton Rd. adjacent to Chipotle; and at the end of the day at the SRR / Palomino Lane intersection. Tuesday through Friday crews will continue to pave side roads and driveways on South River Road from Palomino Road to Hull Road. Week of July 4 There will be no work Monday, July 4, Independence Day. Tuesday, the 5th, a crew is scheduled to mill pavement at various areas from the Manchester Town line to and through the Kilton Road intersection. South River Road will receive its final wearing course of pavement on July 7 and 8. On Thursday, July 7th the contractor is scheduled to pave wearing course of asphalt from the Manchester Town line to the Kilton Road intersection. Friday, July 8th the contractor will pave from Back River Road to the NH Route 101 overpass. Striping of the new pavement will follow. As always, the paving and striping schedules are weather dependent.
